Day 1: Kigali-Goma

Enjoy a beautiful drive through the land of a thousand hills to reach Gisenyi the largest port on Lake Kivu. After lunch clear customs at the border crossing and enter the Democratic Republic of Congo. Dinner and overnight Lac Vic Hotel.

Day 2: Hike Nyiragongo

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibati visitors center before hiking for briefing. Hike to the active volcano Nyiragongo. The hike through lush rain forest takes you to the spot where the volcano erupted in 2002. Dinner and Overnight at the volcano at the tents. 

Day 3: Descend to Bukima Tented Camp

You will descend down the mountain and arrive at Kibati in the morning at 11 am. Transfer to Bukima Tented Camp for lunch and later relax as you wait for the gorilla trekking in the Virunga National Park. Dinner and Overnight is fore seen at Bukima Tented Camp. 

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Congo

After breakfast, you go for Gorilla tracking in Bukima sector park Nationale de Virunga. Leave early morning from the hotel heading to the park Headquarters. After briefing, gorilla tracking starts. Tracking can last a maximum of 8hrs depending on their movement and thereafter return to Goma at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Lac Vic Hotel. 

Day 5: Goma-Bukavu

Have breakfast, and after embark the boat cruise to transfer to Bukavu and stay for an overnight at Orchids Hotel.

Day 6: Kahuzi Biega National Park

Early morning breakfast, and after head to the tracking point of the lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National park. Tacking lowland Gorillas is very amazing, lowland Gorillas differ from the mountain gorillas; the lowland gorillas are bigger in size. The lowland Gorillas stay in bigger families as compared to mountain gorillas; you will not regret the safari effort once you meet the amazing Gorillas! After tracking, you transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. 

Day 7: Bukavu-Kamembe
