Day 1: Arrival in Kigali-Rwanda

Pick up from Kanombe international airport in Kigali. Early arrival will yield an option of Kigali city tour and the surrounding areas. Then proceed to hotel des Mille Collines for Dinner and Overnight..

Day 2: Transfer to Bukavu- DR Congo.

Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast then you will be picked up by the driver and proceed southwards to Cyangugu border on the way to Bukavu in DR Congo.Enroute,visit the national museum of Rwanda at Butare,the king’s palace at Nyanza and Rwanda genocide memorial site.Have a stopover for lunch and continue on the scenic view journey to Bukavu through the tropical forest of Nyungwe National park not forgetting the clear view of lake Kivu. Reach in the evening for Dinner and Overnight at Coco lodge.

Day 3: Lowland Gorilla tracking tour in Kahuzi Biege

Rise up very early in the morning and have breakfast and embark on the memorable adventure of tracking the lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biege national park.This exercise though tiresome but worthy it due to the amazing attributes of this kind of gorillas.This tracking takes between 1-4 hours and there after enjoy nature walks in the Kahuzi Biege park and also visit Tshibati waterfalls.Then visit Bukavu town,Mbayo tea plantations,the research center and the surrounding traditional homes.Return to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali

Wake up not so early and after a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Kigali crossing through Cyangugu border. Reach Kigali late in the afternoon ..
