9 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife

Day1; Kampala-Bwindi
In the morning the guide will pick you from your hotel and head to Bwindi impenetrable forest. You will have a stopover at kayabwe to view the equator plus the waters which can show you that you are both at the hemispheres. Lunch will be got at Agip hotel Mbarara. After relaxing a bit continue with the journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Upon reaching, check in at the lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day2; Bwindi gorilla tracking
Early in the morning after breakfast at the lodge, the guide will take to UWA headquarters with your packed lunch .Here you will be briefed in the group of 8 members on how to behave with the animals. At around 8:30, you will set off for the impenetrable forest to look for gorillas. From tracking, have arrest and after go for village tour. With this tour you will enjoy the Batwa culture where the explanation of how they used to stay in the forest, hunting techniques, and way of eating will be given to you. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day3; Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth national park
In the morning after breakfast from the lodge, you will head for Queen Elizabeth national park. You will pass via Ishasha route where lions are known for climbing trees. Around this place, the guide will reduce the speed coz if lucky; you might have a chance of watching these amazing animals. Upon reaching the magnificent Queen Elizabeth national park around Mweya peninsula, you will check in at Mweya safari lodge and it’s where you will have lunch from. After relaxing a bit you will go for the launch cruise at Kazinga channel. Around this area you will view of hippos in thousands, buffaloes, and if lucky, elephant’s .At Kazinga channel you will encounter flocks of birds like, flamingoes, fish eaters, and others as you enjoy the view of Lake George and Edward. Dinner and breakfast will be from the lodge.

Day4; Queen Elizabeth national park
In the morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will head for the game drive at around Kasenyi area in search for early raisers. Animals like elephants, lions, warthog, antelopes and many more will be seen. Lunch will be got from the lodge. After relaxing a bit, head for Kyambura gorge where you will watch chimpanzees in plenty frolicking in trees below, monkeys, birds plus the Kyambura River that flows between the gorge. Dinner and breakfast will be got from the lodge.

Day5; Queen – Kibale forest national park
Early in the morning after breakfast, the guide will drive you to Kibale forest national park. Upon reaching, you will check in at chimps nest and have lunch from there. After resting a bit, you head for Bigodi swamps sanctuary at Kanyanchu visitor information center. This is a home for 200 species of birds, butterflies plus eight different species of monkeys including grey-checked Mangabey.Dinner and overnight will be spent at the chimps nest.

Day6; Kibale forest national park
Early in the morning after breakfast you will head for chimpanzee tracking, At Kibale, there is 95%of finding these unique primate therefore along the way, you will enjoy many of them, monkeys, birds and others. chimpanzee habituation is also offered around this park, but for this activity you have to spend a night at Kanyanchu visitor because its where the activity starts at 5:30am.Lunch will be got at chimps nest .After relaxing a bit you will go for village walk where you will be entertained by traditional dancers, drama performances and on Saturday, the Bamako women practice basket weaving and many more other activities. Dinner and overnight will be got at the chimp nest.

Day7; Kibale – Murchison falls national park
Early in the morning after breakfast head for Murchison falls national park .Along the way to Fortpotral you will view many tea plantations and other crops grown on large scale. You will have a stopover at Fortpotral for lunch. From there continue up to the park. On this day no any other activity that can be done because travelling takes the whole day. Upon reaching, check in at red chill rest camp and have dinner and overnight from there.

Day8; Murchison falls national park
Early in the morning after breakfast, you go for the wild life drive. This is done around Biligi area on the point between Albert and Victoria Niles, most of the animal can be seen at Albert, queen and Victoria tracks like lions, elephants, antelopes and many more. Lunch will be got at red chill rest camp. After, you will go for launch trip from Paraa headquarters. Along the way animals like hippos, elephants and birds like pink-packed pelicans, Bea eaters can be seen. Dinner and overnight can be got at the lodge.

Day9: back to Kampala
Very early in the morning after breakfast go for nature walks along the north bank of the Nile. Many birds can be watched here and few animals if lucky. After the driver will drive straight back to Kampala .You will have a stopover at Masindi for lunch. After lunch, the driver will drive you straight to hotel or airport, end of services
